American Legion Riders

The American Legion Riders, Florida Chapter 130 was founded in 2003. Since that time, we've done our best to make our mark on the community through charitable acts, scholarships and veterans support.

Chapter 130 does more than ride. Our traditional focus is on local area veterans and their families, in line with Post 130's goals and objectives.

Any member in good standing of the American Legion, the Auxiliary or the Sons of the American Legion is welcome to join our Chapter. By becoming an American Legion Rider, you're making a statement about service and dedication to the American Legion, Post 130 and most importantly, our Veterans, without whom we'd not have the freedoms we enjoy every day of our lives.

Florida Chapter 130 provides valuable services to the community, including:

  • The American Legion Riders Scholarships
    • Each year, Florida Chapter 130 provides scholarships children or grandchildren of local area Veterans
    • Participation in Civic Events
      • LaBelle Christmas Parade
      • Swamp Cabbage Parade, Festival and Bike Event
        • Bike Games, 50/50s, Raffles and Entertainment
      • Christmas Parade
      • Supporting Unit 130 Auxiliary at Christmas with a Toy Run to benefit local area youth

American Legion Riders Florida Chapter 130 is made up of the best that Post 130 has to offer. We're active in support our Post's activities & we're always looking for ways to help our Post, our community and most of all our Veterans - after all, without their willingness to sacrifice, the freedoms we enjoy as citizens would be greatly diminished.

Consider joining our Chapter. You'll be among friends through the good times and the bad and you'll be part of something bigger - the patriotism and volunteerism that made - and continues to make - this country great.
